The sunny first floor

We had a great stay at My Sweet Home Annecy when we spent 6 months in this home after relocating from Australia to Europe. The home had everything we needed which was great for us, including bikes! It is beautifully renovated and has great appliances. We stayed in the loft and in the apartment on level one and they were both really great.

The house is very close to the center and the lake which we loved as we could walk around a lot.

Sandra is lovely. She helped us settle in and gave us a lot of recommendations for things to do, where the best markets are, and tips and tricks about the local culture. Now that we are settled in Annecy, I feel like Sandra is a lovely local friend.

I can highly recommend My Sweet Home Annecy to anyone who plans to visit the area or is relocating here and needs a place to stay, regardless if it's a short or longer term situation. The place is really great.

The Alpine loft

I enjoyed a wonderful short stay in very cosy Alpine Loft. The loft was very bright and warm and provides plenty of space for a couple. Sandra the host made the stay most enjoyable. I look forward to my next visit in Annecy and would stay in the Alpine Loft again if available.

The Alpine loft

I spent 2 weeks in Annecy taking morning French classes and riding a road bike most afternoons - what a great combination! The bright, Scandi-style loft was a cosy, calm place to stay, and the house is well situated: a short walk to the Alliance Francaise, and an even shorter walk to the Saturday market (Marche boulevards Nicollet et Taine) where the selection of local cheeses is particularly impressive. Sandra connected me to a nearby (and well-priced) bicycle rental location, and there was a secure space for bike storage in the house. The road biking was wonderful: I warmed up with the circle route around the Lac d'Annecy, then explored the routes running through the Col de Leschaux (which is a fairly gentle ascent from the lakeside). One of the options from that col is the Tour du Semnoz, a great big ride with lots more climbing. When you' re ready for more steepness go to the other side of the lake and head up to the Col de la Forclaz - it's demanding, but the views are unforgettable.

The cosy Alpine loft was so enchanting. Great taste in how Sandra furnished the place and made use of the loft space. I am a big on cooking meal and there is everything there to make a full on Christmas dinner! Fully stocked kitchen and that is one my big favorites when going to different locations. Thank you Sandra!

We rented the apartment for the 2022-23 school year while our daughter was attending 6ème (middle school) at the nearby Ecole Bilingue de Haute Savoie. It's a nice place, well equipped and maintained, and the location is excellent. The wood stove makes it cozy in winter. It's in an authentic neighborhood in the northern part of Annecy, just ten minutes walk from the train station and fifteen from the historic old city. If you're interested in learning French, the Alliance Française is a short walk away, just across from the newly developed Galeries Lafayette, which is starting to develop some good shops and places to eat. You can also enjoy the unpretentious, untouched by tourists, but excellent "restaurants du quartier" (Bock Cafe, Chez Julie, and the best of all, Bistrot Pierrot). There are a couple of good bakeries just a few minutes away, and several grocery stores in the area, but you'll probably buy most of your food at the wonderful farmer's market just out the door every Saturday (and at another, smaller one on Wednesdays). It's also a great location if you need to go to Geneva. Finally, if you're a cyclist, you can reach any of the great rides on either side of the lake in just a few minutes.

For local travel, Sandra provides commuter bikes that can get you anywhere in Annecy on the network of bike routes and the beautiful "green route" that goes all around the lake. You can easily get by without a car (the bus network is very good for when you don't feel like biking or walking), but if you have one, there's easy and free street parking in the neighborhood. You might find the two nearby "eborn" electric vehicle chargers useful.

The apartments in the building are good for shorter stays, but they're also ideal if, like us, you're looking for a comfortably furnished base for a longer sojourn in Annecy. You'll be away from the tourist crowds that press on Annecy at peak times, but with easy access to everything in town and around the lake. Enjoy!

We had a perfect stay in Sandra's loft! Such a nice place for visiting Annecy. Nice furniture and perfectly equipped. 15min walk to the city center :) and we used the bikes to cycle around the lake!

I was lucky enough to have stayed here at "My Sweet Home," this summer. The apartment is beautiful and located just a short walk or bike ride to down town Annecy. We took advantage of the bikes that were available so we didn't have to use our car at all during our stay! The apartment has everything the seasoned traveler expects as well as beautiful touches that were thoughtful surprises, (such as fresh cut lavender!)
Sandra and her family share details about special places to visit and other hidden gems so we were able to take full advantage of all that Annecy had to offer and then retreat to the spacious, beautiful apartment to get some rest before we tackled the next day of adventures. I highly recommend "My Sweet Home" to singles or families looking to spend time in the French Alps!

The sunny first floor

What a wonderful way to spend 2 months in France! Sandra's place is beautiful, cozy, and in a great location. The flower-filled backyard was perfect spot to play with our kids, and access to bikes for trips down to the lake was fun. Sandra was beyond helpful, recommending good co-working spots in the area, and helping us find someone to watch our cat when we took a side trip to Spain. Annecy is a lovely town, and I wish we could have stayed longer! We'll be back for sure.

Sandra is not just a Super Host - she is an Uber Super Host! We stayed for 10 days in the first floor apartment - light yet cosy. Well appointed - even a soup blender, which was perfect. Comfortable place, tastefully decorated, well situated - nothing negative to say at all - did not want to leave! You make everyone so welcome, the comfort, the little personal touches - flowers etc. Your good taste and hospitality shine through.

We, as a small family of four (2 toddlers with 1 and 4 years), have been able to spend a year in this beautiful apartment and stunning area. The cozy and light filled apartment, the use of the garden and the shared barbecues with the other visitors of the house made us feel at home. Sandra helped us register our son at the Ecole Maternelle around the corner, provided a great selection of toys for the kids, organized a bike trailer for us, gave us super tips for recreational activities in Annecy and around the lake and a friendly relationship developed that makes us miss Annecy even more now. For us it was the absolutely perfect place for our little family adventure abroad. Merci beaucoup for this unforgettable experience in Annecy. we hope to be back soon!

From the moment we walked into the Loft at MySweetHome we were blown away. The space is absolutely beautiful, well configured, and very comfortable. We stayed for a week and wish we could have stayed longer. The bikes in the garage made it feel like we could be in old town or anywhere on the lake in no time… we had more freedom than actually staying in old town with the crowds, yet we could park our rental car eight out front on the street… yes actually available free street parking. I’m so happy we had a chance to experience this beautiful space that was lovingly crafted in an old Annecy home. Thank you Sandra!

Superb 2nd time around. Sandra is an amazing host. Apartment fills all you needs. Great location, great restaurants. Chamonix an hour away. What more can u ask for!

We love everything about this home. Great location, close to all the hustle and bustle but not right in it so you can enjoy the quieter life but not miss out on all the fun of lake and old town. The house has a nice fenced yard so kids can play outside all day long and you don’t have to worry about them. There are two apartments with kids’ bedrooms, so if you’re a family with kids, good chances you’ll have other kids in the house to play with. We’ve met so many new friends.
The apartment is spacious, very well laid out and decorated. It has everything you need for a short or a long stay. Not to mention all the storage space in the apartment and the cellar. For those who have lots of sports equipment, there is so.. much.. space! Getting around is easy from here. There are bikes to borrow. Pretty much any bike size you’d need. We found having these is so handy because not only its easy to get to old town, but also further destinations are easier to get to then if you had to walk. Walking takes longer to get to places but bikes open up a whole set of new areas to you.
Our host, Sandra, is so welcoming and friendly - with tons of recommendations and ideas to make you feel right at home.
Don’t think we’re gonna be able to leave!

Sandra’s apartment is spectacular and she is the most wonderful hostess; so thoughtful with great ideas on what to do in amazing Annecy.

We arrived to a beautifully renovated house, climbed the stairs to the top floor & what a 'find'. There is a 360 degree aspect enabling you to see the mountains and far more. The light & gentle breeze stream through & you feel on top of the world. The apartment is spotlessly clean, uncluttered, super stylish, almost minimalist but with wonderful quirky touches so homely at the same time.

It is extremely well appointed with all the cooking and entertainment facilities you could want, all very clean & well maintained. Storage galore & lots of living space.

Everything is in walking distance but we sometimes borrowed the bikes Sandra lent us to tour the incredible turquoise watered lake and surrounding hills. It was always a joy to return to our gorgeous apartment, so calming, safe & secure. It was so hard to leave on our final morning. We WILL be back.

So proud to have called My Sweet Home our home in Annecy! My husband and I stayed here for almost six months (Jan~June 2020) and we couldn't have been happier. The flat has everything you will need - not just for short stays but for long term living. The flat has many windows all around and every single window has a beautiful view. The fireplace made it very cozy during the winter and the beautiful garden equipped with bbq grill and table was the best! The location couldn't have been better. You can easily reach the lake and groceries on your bike or on foot. Sandra and Alex are the best hosts. They are always a step ahead of you and making sure you're taken care of. We are hoping we can return to Annecy once a year to Sandra and Alex's My Sweet Home.

This is just the ideal spot for anyone looking to have a sabbatical close to some of France's most beautiful places. The apartment is very well situated in Annecy, close to the lake and with views of the surrounding mountains. We definitely profited from all nature could offer - swimming, biking, hiking, snowshoeing...even paragliding.

Sandra is just an exemplary hostess. She was always available, responsive and kind. She made our stay seemless! And the house is lovely - clean, modern, and comfortable. And bikes to go with your apartment! Wonderful place for kids as well. We wish we were still there;)

We spent our sabbatical year in France and England, with all our time in France at this absolutely outstanding flat in Annecy. Sandra was a phenomenal host, and supported our three kids with getting integrated into the community and school. She helped us to get settled, and really made our time in France memorable. Over our year she became a true friend.

The apartment was bright and clean and comfortable. Importantly, given that I was in France to do academic research, it had an excellent internet connection, and the large library in Annecy was a lovely short walk away.

I could write an essay about how wonderful this apartment is and how supportive Sandra was with helping us to get settled. I give this accommodation, and Sandra as host to an international family, my absolutely highest recommendation.

We spent 3 days for Christmas in this lovely and bright apartment with amazing mountain views, really close to the center and the lake.
Residential and calm neighborhood, really convenient to walk or bike to the Old town and the lake.

I stayed for a week in Annecy. Wonderful Nordic style apartment in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. Moreover the proximity to the lake and bikes available to visit made it a perfect stay. Will come back!

Stayed for a week in May 2019. Gorgeous apartment, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Plenty of storage, bikes and laundry facilities. Lovely gardens and courtyard. Sandra is a wonderful host and happy to answer all and any questions about Annecy, the Alps, restaurants, activities ... Perfectly set up for short or long term rental.

I spent a month in the loft apartment whilst attending classes at the Alliance Francaise . I would highly recommend the loft apt .especially for a solo traveller . Sandra met me on my arrival which was much appreciated .The loft was cheerful and I loved the skylights in the lounge and bathroom .The views of the mountains were better than I had hoped for ..
The kitchen was well equipped including coffee machine . Bed very comfortable and room very quiet. I loved the fact I could walk to the town and lake . Highly recommend the loft and hope to return one day .

An amazing experience !

We are a family of 4 (teens of 17 and 15) who visited for the first time the french Alps and had a wonderful stay in Annecy due to both, a great property and an incredible host family.

We spend 3 weeks this summer at the Alpine Loft and it is exactly as you can see in the pictures : cozy, clean, modern, stylish and practical in a great residential location close to the lake, the old town and a Saturday street market. We enjoyed a lot biking everywhere with the bikes provided with the apartment and got to know great neighbors.

Sandra and her family are the best host ever, extremely friendly and helpful. They speak several languages and are always taking care of their guests’ needs with excellent recommendations and support.

We liked it so much, we are already looking forward to go back.

I had the pleasure of staying at My Sweet Home while attending the animation festival in Annecy, France. The first floor flat was spacious and the interior both modern and absolutely charming.
Sandra, our host, was very helpful. We were greeted with a bottle of wine and chocolates. I could see myself happily staying there for months and will certainly return for the next festival.

We stayed at this apartment for 3 month and were very pleased. Comfortable, spacious and luminous and in a perfect position ,very close to the center.Very nicely decorated with attention to details. The host, Sandra, was always very helpful and kind.

Our family (parents and two girls aged 5 and 7) stayed for 10 weeks in the Paris apartment during a family leave this winter (January-March). The flat was perfect for the four of us and especially the children were very content with their room. Sandra was a fantastic host, patient with all questions and inquiries, recommending things suitable and always happy to suggest places to visit and things to see in and around Annecy. Thank you for your hospitality, we would love to come again!

Best Place in Town
We were so happy here. Great support from the owner. Perfect location, walk to everything but quiet at night. Clean, fresh, home. My wife likes to cook and the big kitchen is stocked with all she needed. Bedrooms with lots of storage. Bunk beds were awesome for our children.Best place ever..

We are a family of 5 including 3 children aged 8, 7 and 4. We stayed in My Sweet Home's 2 bedroom 'Paris' apartment, for 5 weeks from early December 2017.
I have nothing but positive things to say about this accomodation. It is located right in the 'hot spot' of Annecy being a short walk to amenities -a short walk into town, 5 mins to the weekly street markets for fresh produce and easy to access from main roads should you be driving.
The host Sandra is bilingual - French and English and was super helpful offering some great tips to enhance our experience.
The house is recently refurbished so all appliances are new and the place is beautifully presented.
If you want accomodation close to the action, clean, comfortable, close to amenities and at the right price then this one comes very highly recommended.

We stayed for a week in August and had a lovely holiday.

We stayed in the Bordeaux apartment which was lovely and clean and bright. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed to cater for ourselves. The cupboard with herbs, oils, salt and pepper was really great as it saves you buying these out there and then not using most of them! The beds were very comfortable and the kids loved there "bunk" beds!

Took us a little while to find our feet and suss out where we were in relation to the lake, old town and supermarkets but once we had done this we used the bikes everyday which were fantastic as we cycled down to the Imperial Palace beach most days and then on to the old town for lunch then back via the supermarket to buy provisions.

The weather was lovely and hot for our stay (30 degrees). We did spend quite a lot of time in the house in the afternoon and evenings reading and relaxing.

Washing and drying facilities were great - managed to come home with suitcases full of clean clothes - fantastic!

I've been vacationing in France for many years. My Sweet Home in Annecy is by far the most comfortable and pleasant apartment I've ever rented. Each apartment is newly renovated - both charming and chic. The ceilings are very high. There is lots of light coming in from tall French windows with wooden "volets" on the outside that can be closed at night. The kitchen has every tool, utensil and appliance that I ever needed. The bathroom and shower are exceptionally pleasant. The whole apartment was immaculate. Very convenient laundry facilities. There are even several bicycles to choose from as well as helmets and locks.

The owner provided a list of great nearby markets (including outdoor markets) and cafes. She lives nearby and was always available if I had a question during my two-week stay. She really helped to make my stay feel like I was "at home". I highly recommend this apartment!

Sandra has created an amazing home and made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived in Annecy. The apartment is beautifully appointed and has everything required. The beds are very comfortable, and the kitchen and laundry are well appointed. We felt immediately right at home. The kids enjoyed playing in the yard and garden which is fenced and safe. It is a short, easy walk to everywhere, and there are bikes to go a bit further if desired. This was by far the most beautiful, spacious, light, comfortable place we've ever stayed in Europe. We will definitely be back and would even tailor our trip to be able to stay here again. Thanks for a beautiful holiday.

This is a lovely place to stay in Annecy. The apartment is very clean, well equipped and perfect for a family. It is well located for walking to the historic town and lake. Sandra is very welcoming and exceptionally helpful in making us feel settled. It is a wonderful start to the summer and I know that our month stay here will be over much too quickly. The region has so much to offer for visitors and this is a perfect place from which to begin to explore it. I highly recommend 'My Sweet Home'!

This apartment is beautiful, modern, clean and has all the amenities you need. Seriously 5 stars! The hostess made sure every detail was taken care of. We made use of the fully equipped kitchen and cooked many meals in, taking advantage of the local markets. Walking distance to the lake, old town, and the train station. The exact experience we were looking for in Annecy!

We had a wonderful month in Annecy. The apartment was totally secure and functional with very pleasing decor, comfortable furnishings and plenty of good linen. It's an easy walk to the city center, the lakeside, a big marché and supermarkets. Hostess Sandra was most gracious and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved staying in Sandra's place! We are 2 adults with a 8 month old baby and stayed for 2 months, and the place was perfect for us. The apartment is very baby friendly -
the kids room is great. The house is well equipped and has loads of storage space. There is a big basement which can be used to store sports equipment and bikes. The wooden fireplace is great if the cold mountain air blows at night.

Sandra is a fantastic host. She was very responsive to our questions and gave us lots of good tips about Annecy and the surrounding area.

There's a nice gated garden which kids can safely play in and can be used for eating outside when it's hot.

All in all a great spot, would stay again!

What a great start. Waking up to a great snowfall with the Alps in the foreground. The apartment is comfortable and cozy and convenient to old town. The Lake is a short walk away and skiing only 1 hour down the road. The best of both worlds. Restaurants in town are fantastic! I thank Sandra and the whole family for a lovely experience. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We will be back in summer! Thanks again.
